Executive Culinary Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Manager to join our team at Château de Mercuès.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to lead our culinary team and contribute to the success of our fine dining establishment. As an Executive Culinary Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the culinary team to deliver exceptional results and high-quality dishes
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and specials to maintain a competitive edge
- Manage inventory levels and optimize food costs to meet budget targets
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages growth and development
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior culinary position
- Journeyman/Red Seal Certification or equivalent
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with current culinary trends and techniques
