As a Dessert Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and baking a variety of pastries, desserts, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards
- Creatively designing visually appealing and delicious pastries that enhance our guests' dining experience
- Following recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and timely delivery of products
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborating with the culinary team to plan and develop new pastry items and seasonal offerings
- Managing inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and proper storage
- Assisting in the preparation and presentation of pastries for special events and functions
- Staying informed about current pastry trends and techniques to bring innovative ideas to our menu
- Managing special requests, dietary requirements, and menu changes
- Maintaining records of food, supplies, and equipment
">Requirements

To be successful as a Dessert Specialist, you should have:

- A minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a fine dining establishment or similar
- Excellent guest service skills and demonstrated enthusiasm and talent for exceeding guest expectations
- Culinary school diploma or relevant certification is a plus
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment, and creative problem-solving skills
- A positive and proactive approach and an ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Proven experience as a pastry cook or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of pastry items
- Knowledge of baking techniques, pastry decoration, and dessert presentation
- The ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for pastry arts
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
