Job Summary:

The Manager, Operations Training is a key member of the Restaurant Brands International Inc. team, responsible for the management of the Learning Management System and the creation and maintenance of the core Team Member and Manager Training Library. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely, and engaging training materials are deployed to facilitate the successful onboarding of new restaurant Team Members and Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop eLearning training to support the onboarding and ongoing training for restaurant learners, including national program, product, and procedural launches and/or changes.
  • Manage the Learning Management System, including design, user experience, troubleshooting, and resource deployment.
  • Write and review scripts and eLearning content aligned with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Conduct needs analysis on training needs using sound principles to determine appropriate effective training approaches.
  • Champion the training process to ensure timely, accurate, and thorough delivery of all materials to restaurant teams.
  • Work with vendors and other partners to ensure cost-effective solutions to deliver effective training.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure correct intake of information, and approval/alignment across all key stakeholders. Ensure programs, procedures, and product launches, changes, and test markets have the appropriate training resources and support to ensure success.
  • Act as a Restaurant Brands International Inc. brand/business ambassador.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience in communication/training, with a background in operations a plus.
  • University degree in communications, business, hospitality, education/adult education, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in instructional design, creating training content and materials, or communication.
  • Ability to establish and build effective relationships and to work collaboratively with others to set and achieve goals.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information to identify issues and prescribe effective training solutions.
  • Strong project management skills, often managing more than one project simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation, project management, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System is an asset.
  • Ability to write and speak French is an asset.
