We are currently seeking a highly skilled Digital Fraud Investigator to join our team.

Job Summary

This role will involve monitoring and analyzing customer transactions and activities to identify potential fraudulent behavior.

You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining fraud detection systems, as well as developing and implementing strategies to prevent fraudulent activities.

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess customer transactions, account activities, and system security to identify unusual patterns or behaviors.
  • Investigate and address potential fraud by conducting research, gathering evidence, and ensuring adherence to security standards.
  • Work in partnership with internal teams such as Customer Support, Compliance, and IT Security to identify and mitigate fraud and security risks.
  • Implement and maintain systems, tools, and processes for fraud detection and security monitoring.
  • Create and execute strategies for fraud prevention, along with establishing security protocols and procedures to guard against threats.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging fraud tactics, and best practices in fraud detection, anti-money laundering (AML), KYC (Know Your Customer), and cybersecurity.
  • Conduct regular reviews and security evaluations to verify compliance with fraud prevention, AML policies, and cybersecurity standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Criminology, Cybersecurity, or Finance.
  • Proven experience as a Fraud Prevention Analyst, Security Analyst, or in a similar role, preferably within the financial or cryptocurrency industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data.
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention techniques, tools, security protocols, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, fraud detection systems, and monitoring tools.
  • Proficiency in using fraud detection and monitoring systems, with a focus on security and risk management tools.
