About the Job

This is an excellent opportunity for a registered University of British Columbia student to work as a Shuttle Driver, providing transportation services to students, staff, and faculty with mobility impairments.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate pickups and dispatch the shuttle
  • Drive clients on designated shuttle route in a safe and professional manner
  • Maintain visibility to students, faculty, and staff while driving on campus route
  • Complete appropriate reports (shift, incident, and vehicle inspection reports)
  • Evaluate client feedback and make recommendations for service improvement
  • Foster good communication with clients, program staff, and coordinator
Requirements
  • Registered UBC student and eligible to work in the upcoming academic year
  • Valid class 5 driver's license or equivalent
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with the geographical layout of the UBC campus
