Your Role:

As a Strategic Business Analyst, you will be tasked with conducting comprehensive business analyses across various departments to support corporate objectives and will be expected to communicate your insights and recommendations to business decision-makers.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Investigate and assess organizational programs and processes that underpin business functions, aligned with the CCTS' mission, vision, and values.
  2. Serve as an internal consultant to diverse stakeholders in a central-services capacity.
  3. Collaborate with project managers, system owners, and end users to thoroughly understand their needs and what is necessary for effective, efficient, and positive experiences for CCTS's employees, leadership, and stakeholders.
  4. Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and devise strategies for their enhancement, including business technologies. Analyze findings to formulate recommendations for new processes.
  5. Assist various teams with user acceptance testing of developed projects, helping them comprehend the business objectives and the value these projects contribute to the broader CCTS vision.
  6. Conduct data analyses as required; develop and present ad hoc reports to support various business process initiatives both internally and externally.
  7. Identify and document business requirements in a manner that facilitates the achievement of organizational objectives.
  8. Timely identification and resolution of conflicting requirements.
  9. Effectively communicate complex information across all levels of the organization.

You should apply if:

  1. You possess a minimum of four years' experience in a business analysis role, preferably within a non-profit, multi-stakeholder environment.
  2. You hold relevant post-secondary education, such as a B.A. in business administration, commerce, finance, or computer science.
  3. You have demonstrated professional experience in requirements gathering, facilitation, business process mapping, and use case modeling.
  4. You excel in an agile project environment.
  5. Your professional writing skills are exceptional, with an ability to tailor communication to a diverse audience.
  6. You are adept at interpreting and documenting the operational requirements of end users, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  7. You possess a strong proficiency in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., to create communication materials.
  8. You have excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Bilingual (English/French)? A significant advantage for those with strong communication abilities in both official languages.
  9. Prior experience in the telecommunications and/or broadcasting industry, particularly in customer complaints, is an asset.
