Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at the CCTS-CPRST. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization's goals and objectives by performing strategic business analyses and providing recommendations to business decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities- Business Process Analysis: Conduct research and review organizational programs and processes to identify areas for improvement, aligned with the CCTS-CPRST's mission, vision, and values statements.
- Internal Consulting: Act as an internal consultant to various stakeholders, providing guidance and support to ensure effective and efficient business operations.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, system owners, and end users to understand their needs and develop strategies for enhancing business processes.
- Process Improvement: Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and develop recommendations for enhancements, including the evaluation of new technologies and business solutions.
- User Acceptance Testing: Support various teams with user acceptance testing of developed projects, ensuring that business objectives and value are understood and delivered within the larger CCTS-CPRST vision.
- Data Analysis: Perform data analyses as requested and develop and present ad hoc reports in support of various business process initiatives.
- Business Requirements Documentation: Identify and document business requirements in a manner that will help achieve organizational objectives.
- Conflict Resolution: Identify and resolve conflicting requirements in a timely manner.
- Communication: Communicate complex information to all levels of the organization.
- Experience: A minimum of four years' experience in a business analysis role, preferably in a non-profit, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Education: Relevant post-secondary education, such as a B.A. in business administration, commerce, finance, or computer science.
- Skills: Proven professional experience in requirements gathering, facilitation, business process mapping, and use case modeling. Agile project environment experience is an asset.
- Communication Skills: Impeccable professional writing skills and the ability to adapt communication to a wide variety of parties.
- Technical Skills: Skilled at interpreting and documenting the operational requirements of end users, project managers, and other stakeholders. Strong ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. to produce communications materials.
- Language Skills: Excellent English communication skills, both orally and in writing. Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the telecommunications and/or broadcasting industry, particularly in customer complaints, is an asset.
