About the Role:

The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Client Services to lead a team of Client Service Associates and other branch support staff. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of the banking industry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Client Service Associates and other branch support staff to deliver exceptional client service and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve client satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Manage and develop a diverse team of Client Service Associates, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure the team is equipped to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field (e.g., business, finance, marketing).
  • 7+ years of experience in a leadership role in the banking industry, with a focus on client services.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional client service and achieving business objectives.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
