About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Soul Restaurants Canada Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our restaurant, ensuring seamless service delivery, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage cash handling, balance sheets, and cash reports to ensure accurate financial records.
    • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of restaurant staff, providing coaching and guidance to ensure excellent customer service.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for growth and development.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
    • Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best possible prices and terms.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Business Development
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, including marketing initiatives and promotions.
    • Monitor sales trends and adjust strategies to optimize revenue.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
