We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Benefits Consultant to join our team at People Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert consulting services to our clients, leveraging your knowledge of group benefits to deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the design and management of group medical, dental, life, disability, and special risk benefits for clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to support client retention and mitigate risks.
- Assess, negotiate, and report on group renewals, quote comparisons, and marketing opportunities.
- Manage the transition of benefits to new carriers, ensuring client risk and exposure are mitigated.
- Price and analyze costings, including alternative funding arrangements.
- Act as a second chair for medium to large clients.
- Manage client deliverables and develop annual client plans.
- Mentor analysts and peer review work.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in group benefits, providing strategic solutions to clients.
- Deep expertise in group benefits, including funding arrangements and flex programs.
- Superior analytical and mathematical skills, strategic planning, communication, and listening skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, strong team player, and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
- A solution-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and provide deliverables in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in multi-channel technology.
- Completion of the Life License Qualification Program (within 90 days of joining).
- Availability to travel on an as-needed basis.
- Valid Driver's License and Vehicle.
- Group Benefits Associate (GBA) or CEBS designation or currently working towards it.
