Benefits Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Benefits Consultant to join our team at People Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing expert consulting services to our clients, helping them navigate the complexities of group benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Client Consulting: Provide strategic and innovative solutions to clients' complex benefits challenges, leveraging your expertise in group benefits to make recommendations on plan design, pricing, and delivery.
- Project Management: Manage projects for medium and large clients, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions to clients, participating in client calls and meetings as needed.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, maintaining a high level of knowledge of employee benefit legislation, administrative issues, and plan rules.
- 5+ years' progressive experience in group benefits in a client-facing or consulting capacity.
- Deep expertise and understanding of the group benefits industry, including funding arrangements and flex programs.
- Superior analytical and mathematical skills, strategic planning, communication, and listening skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and strong team player who works well with internal and external stakeholders.
- A solution and results-oriented individual who demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and provide deliverables as identified in a timely manner.
- Proficiency and comfort working with multi-channel technology.
- Completion of or the ability to complete the Life License Qualification Program (within 90 days of joining).
- Availability to travel on an as needed basis.
- Valid Driver's License and Vehicle.
- Group Benefits Associate (GBA) or CEBS designation or currently working towards it.
