About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ethnic Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Paratha 2 Pasta. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods that showcase the flavors and traditions of diverse ethnic cuisines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that highlight the unique flavors and ingredients of various ethnic cuisines.
  • Culinary Operations: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to strict food safety and quality control standards.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and mentor junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
