Johnson Electric is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to play a key role in managing our equipment design and automation projects. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing project timelines, resources, and communications with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage project timelines, open issue lists, and resource allocation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for communications with customers, suppliers, team members, and management.
- Utilize project management tools to create specific project tasks, establish milestones, and make adjustments as needed.
- Ensure project targets are met, including quality, delivery timing, budget, and other key performance indicators.
- Support the multi-disciplinary approach to equipment design and development.
- Manage project-related open issues and task management lists.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001.
- Create and manage project SORs (Statements of Requirements) for internal use.
- Develop and manage quality checklists to ensure equipment meets customer and quality expectations.
- Debrief management on current progress versus budget and timeline.
- Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Technical college degree or 3 years of relevant experience in administrative project management.
- Good understanding of automated solutions and assembly processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
- Computer literate (MS Office suite – Excel, Word, Visio, Project, Access, Outlook).
