We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Dental Assistant to join our team at docbraces. As a key member of our orthodontic team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the placement and removal of orthodontic appliances, ensuring accurate and efficient treatment.
  • Obtain and maintain accurate digital and analog orthodontic records, under the supervision of our attending orthodontists.
  • Prepare and maintain all dental instruments, supplies, and equipment, adhering to strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and sterile clinical area, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Collaborate with our orthodontic team to provide exceptional patient care, education, and support.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest orthodontic techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an Orthodontic Module or equivalent experience.
  • Dental Assistant experience, with a strong background in orthodontic care.
  • Successful completion of the CDA (Completion of NDAEB Exam).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
