About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Griesbach Dental. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Assist with dental procedures such as preparing plaster models and moulds, casting gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases, and ordering dental and office supplies.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as invoicing patients for dental services and maintaining accurate records.
  • Supervise students in training and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and maintain current certifications and licenses.
Requirements
  • Registration with provincial or territorial authorities and certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods.
