Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist dentists with various tasks, including preparing plaster models, casting gold or metal alloys, and ordering dental and office supplies.
- Perform administrative functions, such as invoicing patients and maintaining accurate records.
- Supervise students in training and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
- Registration with provincial or territorial authorities and certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, with occasional bending and lifting.
