Job Title: Dental Laboratory Assistant

We are currently seeking a skilled Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Griesbach Dental. As a Dental Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including preparing patients for dental examinations, casting gold or metal alloys, and maintaining dental instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
  • Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases, ensuring precision and quality
  • Order dental and office supplies, managing inventory and maintaining a well-stocked environment
  • Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Maintain and order supplies, ensuring a clean and organized workspace
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment, adhering to strict hygiene protocols
Requirements:
  • High school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dental laboratory or related field
  • Registration with provincial or territorial authorities, as required
  • Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board, or willingness to obtain
