About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Harbourstone Enhanced Care team in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
As a LPN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, documenting, and directing resident needs through consultation with medical professionals, care conferences, and internal staff.
You will also provide leadership to health services staff and oversee the provision of quality health services, respecting the client's right to individualized planning of health services.
Additional responsibilities include administering and recording prescribed medication, maintaining accurate and complete documentation and reporting, and applying dressings and treatments according to physician's orders and policy.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with registration with the provincial Practical Nursing regulatory body, ability to work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts, and valid CPR & First Aid Certification.
A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care is essential.
