Job Summary

Top Aces is a leading aerospace and defense company seeking a highly skilled Business Unit Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our Technical Services Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Technical Services team to develop and manage the business unit's budget and financial plans.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions and drive strategic growth.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business development activities.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the business unit leadership team.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate education in accounting or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in financial analysis and planning.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage budgets and financial plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
  • Experience with aviation ERP and Oracle EPM an asset.
