IT Support Specialist

The shíshálh Nation is seeking a skilled IT Helpdesk Technician to join their team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to staff members, ensuring that all computer systems and peripherals are running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to staff members.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and guides.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless system administration and user support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of computer systems and peripherals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and core Microsoft products.
