About the Opportunity

The Capital Program Planner - Architectural Systems will play a key role in promoting the integrity of NSH building architectural infrastructure by aligning planning efforts with NSH Health Services plans and departmental strategic objectives.

This position will be responsible for planning, development, and coordination of the three NSH Capital Programs: Repair & Renewal, Capital Medical Equipment, and Clinical Capital. The successful candidate will also contribute to the preliminary assessment of requirements for Major Capital program projects and coordinate with Major Capital Program initiatives of other Departments in support of NSH.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and significant planning experience preferably in Health Care. The ideal candidate will have 5 years minimum required experience in architectural systems assessment, planning, design, and specification development, as well as 6 years required experience in all aspects of capital program development and implementation.

The successful candidate will possess current knowledge of the Building Code, the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Environmental regulations, and ASHRAE standards. They will also have the ability to effectively prioritize and address simultaneous customer concerns while maintaining adherence to standards and resolving potentially conflicting demand across the customer base.

Hours

This is a permanent, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly.
