Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our Cardiopulmonary Business Unit. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for primary/secondary sales contact with customers for the sale of our medical products.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Achievement: Generate necessary sales activity to meet or exceed sales goals and achieve appropriate target sales prices. Track and analyze progress to manage by objectives.
  2. Territory Management: Work with regional manager and account executive to prioritize accounts, assess opportunity, and develop new business. Track and analyze progress and trends.
  3. Account Management: Assist in maintaining account/customer profiles and account plans for key accounts. Develop a consultative role to manage customer training needs, facilitate relationship building, and provide necessary customer service.
  4. Selling: Make sales calls or generate other sales activities/account maintenance that achieve sales goals, in conjunction with the AE's territory plan.
  5. Administration/Internal Communications: Adhere to budget and expense guidelines, adhere to company policies, and communicate effectively with corporate and field personnel.
  6. Additional Responsibilities

Requirements

  1. Language Skills: Must be bilingual French and English.
  2. Business Acumen: Fundamental understanding of our sales strategies and philosophies.
  3. Sales Techniques: Basic sales techniques and selling skills.
  4. Business Values: Basic understanding and support of our values and customer approach.
  5. Teamwork: Effective team and team-building skills.
  6. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Follow-up: Excellent and thorough follow-up in assignments, customer and corporate interactions, and team activities.
  8. Product Knowledge: Good knowledge in product sales and/or therapy applications.
  9. Computer Skills: Proficient in general computer skills to maintain a working knowledge of software used in the business.

Education and Experience

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sales or related field.
  2. Experience: 2-3 years related experience in the medical device industry, or clinical experience - preferably in cardiovascular.
  3. Previous Experience: Previous B2B sales experience required.
