We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. This position offers flexibility, with a standard minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, and potential for increased hours based on workload. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting clients and providing exceptional customer service
  • Answering phones and managing daily office procedures
  • Overseeing document filing and managing couriers
  • Composing letters and other correspondence
  • Managing client billings and maintaining accurate records

You will serve as the first point of contact with clients and utilize your superior people skills while upholding our high standards of professionalism. Your collaborative approach and ability to take initiative will enable you to support team members with various administrative tasks.

Your strong problem-solving and active listening abilities, combined with an open and respectful communication style, will help foster positive relationships and effective teamwork. You should be able to adapt to new situations creatively and efficiently manage your time to meet deadlines.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of two years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, preferably in an accounting setting. A post-secondary education is also required. You should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail. Proficiency in document management, record-keeping, and client billing is essential. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment is also required.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. You should be proficient in office productivity software and relevant tools, and have experience working in a private sector environment. Experience in managing sensitive and confidential information with discretion is also highly valued.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
