Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a People Scheduling Clerk to join the North Shore staffing team at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform staff scheduling and timekeeping duties for designated units and programs.
  • Review master rotations and flow sheets to allocate relief staff and fill vacancies.
  • Ensure staff with relevant skills are scheduled and available.
  • Process vacation and staff requests, and respond to inquiries regarding vacation accumulations.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Grade 12 plus four years of recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge & Abilities

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work with others effectively and physically perform job duties.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate related office equipment.
