Job Title: Senior HR Manager - Unionized Environment Expert

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Manager to lead our human resources team in the BC region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in unionized environments and be able to provide expert guidance on BC Employment Law, Bullying & Harassment investigations, and Accommodation for workplace injury.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of 500+ employees across BC
  • Compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and relocation support
  • Advise management on BC Employment law
  • Mediate work-related issues at all levels
  • Provide accurate HR counsel to the area's executive team

Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of local experience in a unionized HR environment
  • Ability to work 100% onsite
  • Must drive and have own vehicle, occasionally site visits are required
  • Experience within production and manufacturing
  • Labor Relations knowledge
  • Understand BC Employment Standards
  • Knowledge Respect in the workplace strategies
  • Experience handling Bullying & Harassment investigations
  • Accommodation for workplace injury
