Director, Fund Administration and Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director, Fund Administration and Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Fund Accounting and Operations function as we continue to grow and expand our investment products.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the Fund Accounting and Operations team responsible for a portfolio of mutual funds and limited partnerships, including:
- NAV and distribution calculations
- Investor trade settlement
- Completion of underlying investment documentation, including tax/legal reviews
- Tax slip preparation and delivery
- Calculation of the funds' MERs
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant Asset Management and Fund Administration experience within equity, infrastructure, or private markets
- A minimum of 5 years of management experience and leadership of this function in a similar working environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or other relevant financial field, or an acceptable combination of education and progressive work experience
- Experience with one or more of the industries Accounting (ABOR/IBOR) and Portfolio Management Systems
- CA or CPA designation preferred
- CFA or CIM registration preferred
- A solid understanding of Canadian and U.S. tax compliance
- Experience and comfortable working closely with Senior and Executive Management
- Exposure to various asset classes (including private equity and real estate) and fund structures (specifically Mutual Fund Trusts and LPs)
- Demonstrated experience creating awareness and building knowledge of investment products and services
- Confident handling and overseeing multiple cross-functional projects concurrently and managing conflicting priorities and demands
- Strong content writing and presentation skills
- Experience working in a high performing client service-oriented capacity
- Advanced knowledge of Office 365 including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint required
- Legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer
