CUA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources and Payroll Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for providing expert payroll and benefits administration, as well as supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and departure processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer payroll and benefits for CUA and its subsidiary companies
- Provide subject matter expertise in payroll and benefits administration
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and departure processes
- Maintain HR-related items in Microsoft SharePoint
- Business Administration or Human Resources Management Certificate
- Minimum of three years' experience in payroll and benefits administration
- Strong knowledge of payroll administration/legislation and experience processing payroll, preferably in Ceridian
- Experience working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Superior interpersonal, communication, and project management skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with high-quality documentation and filing systems
- Certification from the Canadian Payroll Association is considered an asset
