Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR administrative services, including preparation of HR documents, in accordance with all legal rules and collective agreements in Germany.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in HR processes and activities, providing guidance on processing transactions correctly in Workday and other HR systems.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR data and transactions in applicable HR systems.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for queries from managers and employees via cases (ServiceNow).
  • Support line managers, employees, and peers with complex transactional HR matters, providing operational and tactical HR support.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders and work in project-based frameworks.
  • Contribute to knowledge transfer, optimization, and redesign of processes reflecting GSK's strategy and values.
  • Work in a highly data-sensitive environment, ensuring the protection of data privacy and adherence to confidentiality requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy and conduct quality controls and audits for data traveling into our payroll system.
  • Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure high accuracy of resolutions and customer satisfaction.
  • Take ownership of ensuring all relevant knowledge articles, including indicated service operating models, are fit for purpose and governed according to accepted global and local standards.
  • Collaborate closely with and learn from in-market team members to keep knowledge on processes up to date and align on high customer service standards.
  • Cooperate closely with local HR business partners and external vendors to share knowledge on processes and anticipate the need for improvement.
  • Effectively employ case management systems to ensure efficient case delivery and act as the central contact for the GSK employee or manager, ensuring they are kept up to date with regular updates and follow-up for closure.
Requirements
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
  • Interest in starting and developing a career in HR.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge and practice in using MS Office applications.
  • Team spirit, reliability, commitment, and flexibility.
  • Accountability and very good organizational skills.
