About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to join our team at IBM Computing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and re-engineering complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough fit/gap analysis and business/process modeling to identify areas for improvement.
  2. Gather business/application requirements and develop business processes based on accepted industry practices.
  3. Configure and test SAP HR Payroll software to ensure seamless integration with our clients' systems.
  4. Lead the development of functional and systems specifications to meet our clients' needs.
  5. Write and maintain necessary documentation to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  6. Educate client team members on the use and maintenance of SAP Payroll software.
  7. Provide support to our clients to maintain efficient operations of their SAP Payroll application.
  8. Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions using a replicable problem-solving methodology.
Requirements
  1. Strong ability to understand and analyze HR management processes.
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
  3. Ability to adapt to changing environments and evaluate complex challenges.
  4. Ability to balance simultaneous assignments and prioritize tasks effectively.
  5. Project management experience is an asset.
  6. Previous consulting experience is an asset.
  7. 3 years minimum hands-on configuration experience of SAP HCM Payroll experience.
  8. Experience with year-end reporting and reconciliation (T4).
  9. Experience testing annual HR support pack upgrades and related defect corrections.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. 5 years minimum hands-on configuration experience of SAP HCM Canadian Payroll experience.
  2. Have completed a minimum of 3 full life cycle implementation of SAP.
  3. PCP certification from the Canadian Payroll Association.
  4. Successful completion of the HR400 SAP ERP HCM Payroll Configuration.
  5. Experience working in an environment with multiple collective agreements.
  6. Eligible for Canadian Reliability Clearance.
