About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to join our team at IBM Computing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and re-engineering complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conducting fit-gap analysis and business/process modeling to ensure seamless integration of SAP HCM Payroll with our clients' business environment.
  2. Gathering business/application requirements to develop functional and systems specifications.
  3. Configuring and testing SAP HR Payroll software to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing.
  4. Leading the development of functional and systems specifications to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
  5. Providing education and support to client team members to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of SAP payroll application.
  6. Troubleshooting issues and providing solutions through replicable problem-solving methodology.
Requirements
  1. Strong ability to understand and analyze HR management processes.
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
  3. Ability to adapt to changing environments and evaluate complex challenges.
  4. Project management experience is an asset.
  5. Previous consulting experience is an asset.
  6. 3 years minimum hands-on configuration experience of SAP HCM Payroll experience.
  7. Experience with year-end reporting and reconciliation (T4).
  8. Experience testing annual HR support pack upgrades and related defect corrections.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. 5 years minimum hands-on configuration experience of SAP HCM Canadian Payroll experience.
  2. Have completed a minimum of 3 full life cycle implementation of SAP.
  3. PCP certification from the Canadian Payroll Association.
  4. Successful completion of the HR400 SAP ERP HCM Payroll Configuration.
  5. Experience working in an environment with multiple collective agreements.
  6. Eligible for Canadian Reliability Clearance.
