Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Director to join our team at Fraser Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of financial plans and budgets, as well as providing strategic financial guidance and support to the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets that align with the organization's strategic objectives
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the organization, including financial analysis and forecasting
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Manage and oversee the financial planning and analysis team
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of financial plans and budgets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies and financial institutions
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and laws, and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or related field
  • CPA recognized professional accounting designation
  • 7-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing financial plans and budgets that drive business growth and success
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
