Position Overview

Are you an analytical financial expert with a knack for intricate analysis and forecasting? Do you excel in a team-oriented setting where your contributions are crucial for strategic decision-making?

Reporting to the Financial Planning and Control Manager, you will oversee the financial planning and analysis functions for the organization. Your role will involve creating detailed financial forecasts, developing valuation models, and participating in strategic project assessments. If you are enthusiastic about utilizing financial data to drive organizational success and adept at managing various priorities, this position is designed for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and refine comprehensive financial forecasts for the organization, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Prepare detailed earnings and capital forecasts to support corporate planning and regulatory submissions, conducting monthly and quarterly variance analyses on key performance indicators.
  • Create and present valuation models to assist in fair value assessments, goodwill evaluations, and impairment analyses.
  • Support the financial and strategic evaluation of projects, considering financial implications, quality, risk, resources, customer impact, and regulatory obligations.
  • Assist the treasury function in credit rating processes and capital structure forecasting and analysis.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of the budgeting process, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies aimed at achieving or surpassing financial targets, while establishing effective relationships with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in business or finance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, along with a minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in senior accounting and financial analysis.
  • Experience in a regulated environment is preferred.
  • You are results-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and informed decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including coaching and motivating teams.
  • A natural aptitude for driving and implementing change with a focus on enhancing customer experience.
  • Knowledgeable in budgeting concepts, regulatory frameworks, and business models.

This role offers the option to participate in a flexible work program, allowing you to work from an approved remote location for a significant portion of the year, subject to operational needs.
