About the Role

The Director, Distribution Strategy Leader will be responsible for leading the implementation of TD Asset Management's distribution strategy in Central Canada. This role will require strong leadership and management skills to drive growth and performance in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of wholesalers to achieve sales targets and grow TDAM's footprint in Central Canada
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Collaborate with internal partners and external partners to maximize distribution effectiveness
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, regulations, and industry changes
  • Develop strong relationships with industry partners to support business growth
  • Provide input on sales targets, performance criteria, and reward and recognition programs

Requirements

  • University degree
  • Industry accreditations (CFA, CIM, CFP, FCSI) preferred
  • 10+ years of industry sales experience
  • In-depth knowledge of asset management and wealth management industries
  • Strong interest in capital markets, portfolio construction, and business development
  • Effective presentation and communication skills
