We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Iqaluit Valupharm Drugs. As a key member of our pharmacy staff, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate information on prescriptions, maintaining inventories of medications, and preparing medications for clients.
Key Responsibilities- Verify prescription information and ensure accuracy
- Manage inventory levels of medications and maintain accurate records
- Prepare medications for clients in a safe and efficient manner
- Enter client information into our database system
- Bill third-party insurers for services rendered
- College diploma or certificate in Pharmacy Technology
- 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
