Job Overview

GardaWorld is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Airport Security Specialist.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation package, including an estimated salary of $33.29 per hour, along with comprehensive health benefits and a Northern allowance of $10.02 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

As an Airport Security Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the traveling public. Your key responsibilities will include screening passengers and their belongings, preventing non-permitted items from entering secure areas, controlling access to restricted zones, responding to alarms, and participating in emergency operations within the airport.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have a clean criminal record, and be eligible for RAIC (security clearance). You must also be at least 18 years old and proficient in English verbal and written communication. Additionally, you should be located near Iqaluit or willing to relocate before starting your employment.
