We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and evaluating social programs that promote the well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Collaborate with our team to design and implement social programs that address the needs of our community, including education, guidance, counseling, and assessment.
  • Community Engagement: Build relationships with community members, organizations, and stakeholders to promote our social programs and services.
  • Case Management: Provide case management services to individuals and families, including assessment, planning, and implementation of interventions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our team, including social workers, counselors, and other professionals, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Develop and maintain accurate records and reports, and participate in evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of our social programs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor degree in social work.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience in social work or a related field.
  • Certification: Must be a member of the Ordre professionnel des travailleurs sociaux et thérapeutes conjugaux du Québec.
