Job Title: Companion

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Companion to join our team at Hamilton High Street Residence Inc.

Job Summary:

The Companion will provide personalized support and care to our residents, assisting with daily living activities, household tasks, and social interactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Accompany residents on outings and engage in social activities
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Administer medications (as per training)
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Work Conditions:

The Companion will work in a residential setting, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires bending, crouching, and kneeling.
