Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the integrity of the public procurement process, ensuring all purchases comply with policies and procedures
  • Review and process purchase requisitions, identifying opportunities for contracts
  • Coordinate product conversions
  • Attend site meetings as required
  • Manage project schedules to ensure contracts are in place
  • Update Capital lists for respective product lines
  • Lead Requests for quotations under $121,200 with oversight of Buyer or Manager
  • Assist Buyers with large RFPs as required
  • Support Buyer team with project work or large RFPs
  • Verify requested items for purchase comply with established standards and BPS directives
  • Vendor Management and reporting of KPIs
  • Work with AP to resolve exceptions

Requirements: We are seeking a highly motivated individual with 1 to 2 years of direct procurement experience and excellent negotiation skills. A completed post-secondary education in Business Administration specializing in Purchasing, Materials Management, or Logistics is also required.
