About the Role: As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital part in ensuring timely availability of goods and services to support our hospital's operations. Your primary responsibility will be to administer and execute all activities involved with procuring goods and services for corporate contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the integrity of the public procurement process, ensuring all purchases comply with policies and procedures
- Review and process purchase requisitions, identifying opportunities for contracts
- Coordinate product conversions
- Attend site meetings as required
- Manage project schedules to ensure contracts are in place
- Update Capital lists for respective product lines
- Lead Requests for quotations under $121,200 with oversight of Buyer or Manager
- Assist Buyers with large RFPs as required
- Support Buyer team with project work or large RFPs
- Verify requested items for purchase comply with established standards and BPS directives
- Vendor Management and reporting of KPIs
- Work with AP to resolve exceptions
Requirements: We are seeking a highly motivated individual with 1 to 2 years of direct procurement experience and excellent negotiation skills. A completed post-secondary education in Business Administration specializing in Purchasing, Materials Management, or Logistics is also required.
