We at Venturis Capital Corporation are looking for a remote **Talent Acquisition Specialist**

**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a remote Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 16-month contract who is looking to jumpstart their career in Human Resources. You will partner with all functions of the company to address talent needs through creative sourcing, talent pooling, and internal and external hiring in the US and Canada. Your daily activities will allow you to get hands on experience in the world of HR while you:

- Create exciting and attractive job descriptions and postings
- Prepare recruitment material and post to appropriate job boards
- Work closely with hiring managers to hire the right talent
- Maintain electronic HR files and information
- Provide additional administrative support to the HR team as needed
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent experience
- Excellent teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- You have strong interpersonal skills with a positive and approachable personality, and a desire and ability to build strong relationships with a customer-service focused mentality
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to deal with confidential matters with tact and discretion
