Senior Administrative Coordinator for Academic Affairs

About the Role:
The Department of History is committed to fostering a culture built on respect, goal orientation, self-motivation, accountability, and teamwork. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to our senior leadership, coordinating the academic life cycle for appointed faculty, including searches, tenure, and promotions proceedings.
Your Responsibilities:
- Administering academic search activities with precision and attention to detail
- Collecting feedback from search committee members to ensure effective decision-making
- Coordinating logistical details for events and programming
- Editing content for brochures, newsletters, websites, and handbooks
- Ordering supplies within established limits
- Managing meeting schedules, agendas, materials, action items, and follow-up tasks for the Chair
Essential Qualifications:
- An advanced college diploma in Business or Administration, or equivalent experience
- Three years of relevant executive assistant experience in a fast-paced academic environment
- Extensive experience managing executive schedules and calendars
- Proven ability to administer human resources processes and policies
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented approach
What We Offer:
