**Shape the Future of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Kamloops**
Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is seeking an empathetic and insightful child and adolescent psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of child and adolescent psychiatry in Kamloops.
About the RoleIn this critical role, you will work collaboratively with clinicians and managers to refine programs, policies, and procedures. You will provide an invaluable perspective that helps take our integrated care to new heights.
You will have active staff privileges at RIH, allowing you to lead as the Most Responsible Physician for your patients during their hospital stays, ensuring a continuity of care that families can trust.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric assessments and treatments for patients up to 18 years old
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, pediatricians, and social workers
- Mentor peers, medical undergraduates, postgraduate Family Practice residents, and participants in the UBC–Okanagan Psychiatry program

What We Offer- Total compensation between $420,000–$620,000 per year, derived from a combination of fee-for-service payments, sessional contracts, and MOCAP level 2
