Salary

The total compensation package for this position is estimated to be between $400,000–$600,000 per year, derived from a combination of fee-for-service payments, sessional contracts, and MOCAP level 2.

Job Description

This essential position will see you serving as a critical resource for aging populations, managing their care on the newly established 30-bed inpatient unit at Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) and through consultation-liaison psychiatry. You will contribute to the Seniors Mental Health Program, offering short-term assessment and treatment for moderate to severe psychiatric diagnoses, including major neurocognitive disorders.

You will also expand access to healthcare for both local and rural communities beyond traditional clinical settings, emphasizing the importance of your role in bridging disparities and ensuring that comprehensive psychiatric support is accessible to all seniors, regardless of their location.
