The estimated remuneration for this position ranges between $400,000 and $600,000 per year, through a combination of fee-for-service payment structure, sessional contract, and MOCAP level 2 compensation.


Job Description

In this vital role, you will be part of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health team at Royal Inland Hospital, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, navigating complex pharmacological treatments, and offering essential psychosocial support to individuals battling mental health challenges.

You will also have the opportunity to work with a specialized mental health and substance use inpatient unit, as well as a 30-bed general psychiatric unit, located in the new Phil and Jennie Gaglardi Tower.

Your dedication to educational excellence will shine as you mentor peers, medical undergraduates, postgraduate Family Practice residents, and participants in the UBC–Okanagan Psychiatry program.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Eligible
