Strategic Business Manager, Ancillary Services

Fleming College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Business Manager to provide leadership to the College's ancillary business units. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic planning, revenue generation, and implementing innovative practices to support student success and sustainable business development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership to the College's ancillary business units, including the Campus Store, food services, OneCard operations, Parking, Conference & Events Services, and Information Booths.
- Develop and implement integrated business plans to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee the management of multiple ancillary business units, including budget development and management, facility planning, and contract administration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including student associations, campus partners, and operators, to deliver services that enhance the campus experience and achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.
- 3-year diploma in a related field of study.
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a related field, including budget development and management, facility management, and experience managing multiple functions.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in a unionized environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build consensus and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of integrity and trust.
- Expert knowledge of the practice, design, and delivery of ancillary services.
- Strong business acumen, with revenue generation, data analytics, and financial modeling skills.
