This is a key leadership role that oversees the strategic direction and operational management of Fleming College's ancillary business units. The successful candidate will provide visionary leadership to drive business growth, improve student experience, and enhance revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement integrated business plans to support student success and sustainable business development.
- Provide operational leadership to multiple ancillary business units, including the Campus Store, food services, OneCard operations, Parking, Conference & Events Services, and Information Booths.
- Oversee long-term financial forecasts, facility planning, and contract administration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including operators, student associations, and campus partners, to deliver services that enhance the campus experience while achieving revenue targets.
- Develop and implement innovative practices to drive business growth and improve student satisfaction.
- 3-year diploma in a related field of study.
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a related field, including budget development and management, facility management, and experience managing multi-functions.
- Strong leadership and management experience in a unionized environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to build consensus, negotiate, and influence.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity in emotionally difficult situations.
- Software proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and web-based platforms.
