About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Late Night Pizza. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Operations and Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, repairs, and wastage.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customer feedback is documented and used to improve service and quality.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 food service staff, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Working Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers.
  • Standing for extended periods and physically demanding work.
Language
  • English is the primary language of communication.
