Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Spadina Food Inc. Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely manner to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Staff Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we meet our quality control standards.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing any issues promptly.
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis to management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language
    • English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Hours
    • 30 to 36 hours per week.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Spadina Food Inc., you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of dedicated staff. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and may be required to work on weekends and holidays.
