Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Food Dudes Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, providing updates on departmental performance.
- Culinary Knowledge: Have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, ensuring that our menu offerings are diverse and appealing to customers.
- Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage during peak periods.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our food service department operates efficiently and effectively. You will have a strong background in food service management, with experience in supervising and coordinating staff, training and developing staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
- Language: English
