About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Food Dudes Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, providing updates on departmental performance.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.
  • Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage during peak periods.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Language: English
Work Environment

The Food Dudes Inc. is a fast-paced environment, and as a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work under pressure to meet customer demand. You will be standing for extended periods, and you must be able to work in a noisy environment.
