Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Trishiv Food Limited. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Service
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
- Staff Management
- Hire and train food service staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
- Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Quality Control
- Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement.
- Financial Management
- Prepare and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Monitor and control food costs to maintain profitability.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure timely and accurate ordering.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to train and develop staff.
As a Food Service Supervisor at Trishiv Food Limited, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks. You will also be required to work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail.
